Our Commitments

♦ Our Commitments

Built on systems. Proven across our sites.

At Nactarome, our commitments are not statements – they are reflected in how we operate across our sites, our systems, and our teams.

We combine certified food safety and quality systems, structured environmental practices, and externally recognised sustainability assessments to ensure consistent, compliant, and reliable performance.

Our approach is based on:

  • Established management systems
  • Independent certifications and assessments
  • Group-level governance and controls
  • Continuous monitoring and improvement

We operate across multiple countries and production sites, each with specific capabilities, and local regulations. Our role is to ensure consistency where it matters and transparency where differences exist.

1. Delivering safe and consistent products

Food safety and quality are the foundation of our operations.

Across our sites, we apply certified systems aligned with internationally recognised standards, including FSSC 22000, BRCGS, and ISO-based frameworks.

These systems ensure:

  • Controlled production processes
  • Verified compliance with regulatory and customer requirements
  • Consistent product performance across different sites

Beyond certification, our focus is on:

  • Operational discipline
  • Continuous verification and improvement
  • Strengthening quality culture across all teams

2. Managing environmental performance in a structured way

We apply a structured environmental management approach across our operations.

This includes:

  • Monitoring energy use and environmental impact
  • Implementing site-specific improvement actions
  • Increasing efficiency and use of renewable energy

Selected sites are certified to ISO 14001, while all entities follow structured environmental practices aligned with Group and regulatory expectations.

This approach allows us to:

  • Ensure consistency across sites
  • Adapt to different levels of maturity
  • Continuously improve environmental performance

3. Ensuring transparency and measurable ESG performance

We use structured frameworks to assess and improve our sustainability performance.

EcoVadis is progressively implemented across our sites as a common reference for evaluating:

  • Environmental impact
  • Labour and human rights
  • Ethics
  • Sustainable procurement

In parallel, selected sites undergo external social and ethical audits such as SMETA.

Over the last years, we have strengthened our sustainability reporting approach. We have progressed from a GRI based report to an ESRS aligned Sustainability Statement, improving the consistency, comparability, and relevance of our disclosures.

Our systems and data structures are also being developed to support emerging regulatory requirements, including due diligence expectations linked to EUDR and future CSRD reporting.

Together, these elements allow us to:

  • Benchmark performance across entities
  • Strengthen data quality and governance
  • Provide customers with consistent, decision relevant ESG information

Newly integrated sites are progressively aligned with these approaches as part of their integration into the group.

4. Operating as one group across multiple sites

Our organisation combines local expertise with group-wide alignment.

Across our sites, we work to:

  • Harmonise systems and standards
  • Ensure comparable performance and reporting
  • Support continuous improvement

At the same time, we recognise that:

  • Sites have different certification profiles
  • Capabilities vary depending on activities and markets

Our strength lies in managing this complexity in a structured and transparent way.

5. Supporting specialised product and market requirements

We support a wide range of customer and market requirements, including:

  • Halal
  • Kosher
  • Organic / BIO
  • Product-specific certifications
  • Feed-grade and specialised applications

These capabilities are site-specific and embedded within our broader quality and food safety systems, ensuring:

  • Controlled processes
  • Verified compliance
  • Reliable delivery

6. Strengthening responsible sourcing and supplier engagement

We are currently strengthening our approach to responsible sourcing across our value chain.

This includes the progressive integration of sustainability criteria, due diligence requirements, and supplier performance considerations into our processes.

This work is aligned with evolving regulatory expectations, including EUDR, and aims to improve traceability, transparency, and consistency across our supply base.

♦ Certifications & Standards

Our commitments are supported by a combination of certified systems, structured practices, and external assessments across our sites.

Because we operate in a multi-site environment, certification and assessment status varies by location. We provide full transparency through a detailed site-level overview.

Quality & Food Safety

Across the Group, our sites operate certified systems including:

  • FSSC 22000 (widely implemented across multiple sites)
  • BRCGS (applied at selected sites)
  • ISO 9001 (implemented at selected entities)
  • HACCP and equivalent systems

Additional registrations and standards (e.g. FDA registration, feed certifications, ISO 22000) are applied where relevant.

These systems ensure:

  • Product safety and compliance
  • Process control and consistency
  • Continuous improvement through audits and verification

Environmental Management

  • ISO 14001 certification at selected sites
  • Structured environmental management practices across all entities
  • Monitoring and improvement of environmental performance
